Cruise On bigger and better each year
of Cruise On
Cruise On 2016 will be the 24th Anniversary of
this popular Barossa Community event.
Many families will by enjoying over 500 cars,
two bands (Silverado’s at the Tanunda Hotel and
Mystery Train in the Rotunda) and a DJ in the
main street of Tanunda this coming Saturday
The street will be closed from 4 p.m. and will
quickly fill with pre 1970 custom cars and American
Classics and of course the popular hotrods.
Brian Murphy from Cool Trimming is this
year’s Platinum Sponsor. Brian operates an Auto
Trimming business at Belair Athol and has been
coming to The Cruise On for many years.

15 cars from Victoria and one from NSW.
Some cars return every year travelling over
800kms to attend the nationally recognised event.
Event organisers, Valley Hot Rodders Inc, have
included several cruises Saturday morning to many
of the popular Barossa Tourist attractions including
Gully Gardens, Barossa Aviation Museum, Carl
Lindner’s Jag collection and Eric Parker’s Chevy
Locals can expect to see Tanunda’s main street
busy with car enthusiast from Saturday morning
through to 11 p.m.
The Valley Hot Rodders invite the public to enjoy
this free family event but would ask that push bikes
and skate boards do not enter the street.
