Men’s Singles Champion was David Jaunay,
runner-up was Mark Schutz.
Men’s Pairs Champions were Liam Buckley and
Fred Thomas; runners-up were Patrick Gibbons
and John Standish.
Mixed Pairs Champions were Judy Argent and
John Standish; runners-up were Lorraine Jaunay
and David Jaunay, all presented by President,
Most Improved was awarded to Ian Elsworthy,
presented by Chairman of Selectors, Neville Smith.
A well-deserved Life Membership was awarded
to Fred Thomas for his long time and ongoing
work and support of the club.
Grateful thanks were extended to Glenys
Thomas, who is a regular assisting in the bar
and with afternoon tea and she acknowledged
the help of Wendy Rough; the catering team, fun-
draising team, selectors, tournament committees,
green keepers, publicity and the board, for all
their hard work during the season to keep the
club going and growing.
All the divisions were acknowledged. Division
One were runners-up, with Division Two, Three,
Ladies and Midweek all fighting hard and per-

Good wishes were sent to Patrick Gibbons and
all members wished Joyce a speedy recovery.
There is a pre-AGM meeting in the clubrooms
on April 12 and the AGM will be held on May 24.
A Plant Sale is being held on April 7 and 8.

Last Sunday the Association Pairs and Triples
were played at Nuriootpa.
Eudunda’s Men’s Pairs, Chris and Aaron Jones
were successful in winning their section, then win-
ning the Association Pairs Championship against
Liam Buckley and Fred Thomas of Angaston.
Both Ladies and Men’s Triples won through
to the play-off.
Eudunda Men, David Kleinig, Kym Schutz and
Jono Voigt lost to the Kapunda Men’s Triples.
Eudunda’s Ladies Triples, Judy Milde, Marg
Nietschke and Betty Marshall won the Association
Triples Championship against Mavis Elsworthy,
Barb Bullock and Lorraine Jaunay of Angaston.
Eudunda Bowling Club features well in repre-
senting Barossa and Light Association this week-
end at Renmark in the Regional Championships.
